Jo, Senior Youth Worker

My role covers 3 areas: Normanton, Featherstone and the South East of the district. I deliver a variety of groups including youth clubs, sessions within school or out and about near you, and youth work to support with a variety of things such as emotional wellbeing or increasing confidence. We also have a mixture of activities during the school holidays that you can get involved in.

Laura, Youth Engagement Worker

As a Youth Engagement Worker, I support young people on a one-to-one basis. This is so that young people can access the right support at the right time. This could include supporting school attendance, emotional wellbeing, relationships, life skills, stopping smoking and accessing positive activities.
