FREE child car seat checks are back!

📢Calling all parents and carers! There are FREE events to check your child’s car seat across West Yorkshire over the coming months.

Getting your child’s car seat checked takes just a few minutes. It’s a great opportunity for parents and carers to speak to an expert and make sure their children are travelling safely.

Trained staff will check that the seat is fitted correctly and meets safety requirements. They’ll also offer guidance and make any necessary adjustments in a friendly, supportive environment.

No appointment is needed – simply turn up to one of the events taking place across the county.

Here are the two events taking place in the Wakefield district:

Thursday 25 June, 10am to 3pm | Morrisons, Dewsbury Road, Wakefield | Child car seat check Morrisons, Wakefield

Friday 28 August 10am to 3pm | Xscape, Castleford | Child car seat check Xscape, Castleford
