Family Voice Meeting
Our next Family Voice meeting will be on Wednesday 24 June at 10:00am at Butterflies Family Hub.
Quita will be there to hear your experience of services as well as look at new ideas of how we can improve services or come up with something new together!
A couple of things we’ll be chatting about is: play and what support, ideas or information would be useful; and access to health appointments and advice around healthy options.

Jess, Family Hub Coordinator
Hi, I’m Jess and I’m the Coordinator for Butterflies and Oakhill Family Hubs. This means that I oversee the running of the buildings, the staff that work there and the groups that children and families attend. I’ve worked with children and families for over 10 years and I love my job! The best thing is working with a fantastic team of people who all know that their job is to help children and their families achieve their full potential and feel happier and better about themselves.
Annie, Early Years EIP Practitioner
Hi, I’m Annie and I am an Early Intervention and Prevention Practitioner (EIP) for the Early Years (0-5 years) and manage the Early Years Support Workers across four hubs: Butterflies, Oakhill, Cedars, and Havercroft. Early years is my passion, and I absolutely love what I do! No two days are the same, which keeps me on my toes! I lead the Team Around the Early Years (TAEY), and Baby Friendly Initiative for our area, as well as bringing different services together so you receive the right support from the very beginning. As a whole team, we strive to provide all our families with consistent, caring support and create a home away from home.
Luke, Business Support Officer
I’m Luke, and I’m usually the first face you’ll see when you arrive at Oakhill. Being on reception means I see people coming and going all day, and it’s lovely to see how much the Family Hub can help and support everyone who visits.
Alyson, Steven and Val, Early Intervention and Prevention (EIP) Practitioners
We are EIP Practitioners and we work across both Butterflies and Oakhill Family Hubs, and one of us is on hand every day to provide advice, guidance and support around any worries you or your children may have. We are happy to chat with you in person or on the telephone. If needed, and with your consent, we can talk with your child’s school about holding a Team Around the School (TAS) meeting. We discuss and worries or concerns you may have and together create an Early Help Plan of support to help you and your family with the things you are finding difficult.
