Family Voice Meeting

Our next Family Voice meetings will be running on 18 May, 15 June and 13 July (all Mondays @ 12:30pm) at Cedars Family Hub.

Joy and Debbie run the Family Voice meetings and are there to hear your experience of services as well as look at new ideas of how we can improve services or come up with something new together!

A couple of things we’ll be chatting about is: play and what support, ideas or information would be useful; and access to health appointments and advice around healthy options.

Find out more about Family Voice meetings here.

Emmajane, Family Hub Coordinator

I’m Emmajane and work across both Cedars and Havercroft Family Hubs.  My role includes overseeing our programme of interventions, groups and ‘Team Around’ meetings, and managing the staff across both buildings. Our aim at the Family Hubs is to support local children and families to thrive and reach their full potential.

Sammy, Early Intervention and Prevention (EIP) Practitioner

As an EIP Practitioner, I’m available to provide advice, guidance and support to families who may not know where to turn when trying to support their children, both at home and at school. I run the After School Group as well as delivering the ‘A Parent’s Toolkit SEND’ programme which supports parents and carers of children with additional needs. I also support local child minders to use the Family Hubs so that children can access our nursery and sensory room facilities.

Jane, Debbie and Joy, Family Hub Support Workers

We work across both Cedars and Havercroft Family Hubs and are passionate about helping families to thrive. We offer friendly guidance, deliver programmes for parents, family groups and children’s groups designed to support and strengthen families in our community, helping them to achieve positive outcomes.

Cheryl, Nic and Lisa, Early Years Support Workers

We deliver Stay and Play sessions, Baby Group, Baby Massage, Baby and Me, HENRY, Introducing Solids (Feeding your child) and Rhythm and Rhyme sessions. We support families with early childhood development through play and focused activities and provide emotional support for parents when needed.
