Family Hubs

Raising a family can come with its challenges – support is available when you need it. Family Hubs provide local, all-age support, advice and guidance to parents and carers from pregnancy to your child being 18 years (up to 24 if there is a SEND need). You can walk-in, email, or call to access support for the whole family.

Family Hubs can help with: Family relationships, child development including special educational needs, emotional and mental health, parenting support, parental conflict, employment and debt issues, and connecting with other parents and carers. he video and podcast below give more of an idea what Family Hubs have to offer!

This podcast focusses on the support Family Hubs provide from pregnancy to your child starting school. Ruth is one of our Early Years Practitioners and spoke about what’s on offer to families throughout the district. Lamiah is a parent who has used the hubs and the wide range of services they provide since she was pregnant. And she still does now almost two years later!
This podcast discusses the groups and support for families with children aged 5 years and older. Leanne is a Family Hub Support Worker and talks about the offer for children aged 5+. Sarah is a parent who has used the hub to access support for herself and her 10 year old child.
