Learning Objectives

• Recognise and understand the range of criminal offences which may need to be considered during a Section 47 enquiry.
• Apply and understand ‘Best Evidence’ Guidance, applying its principles during child protection enquiries and social work interviews with children
• Identify the roles and responsibilities of other agencies in the process and be clear about what is expected of everyone involved in the process.
• Improving identification of risk and improving outcomes for children and young people.

This training is required to attend the Achieving Best Evidence Training
