Adolescent Risk

This course will provide workers with an understanding of adolescent risk as well as supporting workers to recognise the differences between exploitation and vulnerability. The training will also provide workers with skills, tools and knowledge of different interventions they can use with children and young people.

Learning Objectives:

  • To recognise indicators of vulnerability and exploitation and recognising the differences.
  • To take away skills to take into your work that make a difference for young people To understand how exploitation can impact on young people¿s behaviours and recognise how young males and females may react differently
  • To understand that it is important to identify and address the vulnerabilities for young people in order to minimise the risk of them being exploited. To support families to feel confident to support their children
