🎧 Discover the Wakefield Family and Youth Hubs on Rhubarb Radio!

Earlier this month, we teamed up with Rhubarb Radio to shine a spotlight on the amazing work of the Wakefield Family and Youth Hubs, part of the Wakefield Families Together partnership.

In this special podcast episode, Joe Seddon (Head of Service for Early Intervention and Prevention) and Karen Wilkinson (Partnership Manager) talk about the fantastic free support available to families across the District and how these hubs are making a real difference in local communities.

Hear how the Family Hubs offer a warm welcome to the whole family, whether it’s attending groups, accessing health services, getting advice, or simply finding some company. They’re helping people overcome challenges, connect, and thrive.

You’ll also hear about how the Youth Hubs support 11–25 year olds, offering a safe and trusted space with fun activities, help for those struggling at school, and guidance on health and employment. All with the aim of building young people’s confidence and helping them succeed.
